I'm not going to tell you that I didn't have time to read my book or I lost it while scouring the depths of a cave for lost treasure. I just got a little lazy this week and ended up sleeping a lot... Anyways, I did learn some about Islamic Literature. I learned that they like to use similes and metaphors in their literature to accentuate the point and express more with fewer words. Here I'll have some examples of some metaphors

  3. I never knew that Islamic literature uses many similes and metaphors. I find this very interesting, and it is funny how you really have to think about what they are saying. It's not like this everyday vernacular to us.
